Aaron and I in Seydisfjordor, Iceland
My awesome family
I am beyond thrilled to begin my first year with Mid-Pacific for the 2016-2017 school year! While this is my first year with Mid-Pacific, it is not my first year teaching. I have been teaching for four years. Two of them were in San Diego at High Tech High International where I taught 7th grade science and 9th grade humanities. Two of them were in Chicago at Perspectives Charter School where I taught 9th-11th grade reading. I attend Loyola University of Chicago where I earned a B.A. in English and a B.S.Ed.

Outside of the classroom I love spending my time doing yoga, biking, going to the beach, hiking, crafting (weaving, watercolor, etc), listening to music, dancing, and enjoying time with friends and my husband, Aaron. Aaron and I also love to travel. We spent 8 days in Iceland this summer and absolutely fell in love with that magestic land. The next destination on our travel bucket list is Asia, more specifically we are hoping to travel to Vietnam, Cambodia. Laos, and Thailand.

I can't wait to learn more about all of you this year!
